The Tensegrity Project:

Tensional integrity, is a structural principle based on the use of isolated components in compression inside a net of continuous tension, in such a way that the compressed members (bars or struts) do not touch each other and the prestressed tensioned members (cables) delineate the system spatially to create the impression that the bars ‘fly’.

“A modern workspace where engineering students can come together outside of the classroom to think, experiment, design, build and exchange ideas.”
