Storage in the Dyson Centre

Crates
There are 64 really useful boxes for undergraduates and societies to use for up to a year. They are specifically for storing ongoing project work being carried out in the Dyson Centre.
The internal dimensions are
380mm x 320mm x 285mm
They are in high demand, but email dyson-helpdesk@eng.cam.ac.uk to see if any are available, or ask at the desk.

Cupboards
We have 60 large cupboards for use by societies and in special cases, individual students. Many are in long term use.
Cupboard maintenance
With the turnover of students and society committees, cupboards can easily fill up with redundant items and scrap materials from previous years. If you no longer need something, for example half used laser plywood, it's best to ask a dyson technician to put it in general storage so it can be used.
Cupboards must be closable and not have things cascading out on to the floor.
Every new committee should sort through their storage before the start of the academic year.
