3D Printing

3D printing is the easiest thing to get started with in the Dyson Centre. They're available to undergraduates or masters students without booking. We have two main types
Ultimaker FDM Printers
These are high resolution but can take a while to print. Get started by following our 3D Printing with Ultimaker tutorial
RS Pro IdeaWerk FDM Printers
These are quicker than the Ultimakers and cheaper, but lower resolution and harder to clean up after. Download the 3D Printing with IdeakWerk guide to get started.
